Pin Grading

Enamel pins are handmade and it possible that they may have some imperfections or flaws. We use pin grading to help differentiate them. Note that we do not sell S grade pins. S Grade would be perfect condition and we cannot promise this.

A Grade:

Best quality pin that we make. Also considered Standard grade. These pins may have some minor imperfections that do not affect the overall look of the pin and may be barely noticeable. Examples of minor imperfections would be:

  • Small scratches or scuffs in enamel or plating
  • Small specks or bubbles
  • Few specks of incorrect glitter

B Grade:

Not the best quality, but still good! Also considered Seconds grade. These pins have more apparent flaws. Examples of flaws:

  • Visible scratches or scuffs
  • Misaligned screen-printing
  • Incorrect glitter/mixed glitter
  • Under-filled/over-filled/missing enamel
  • Incorrect/off enamel coloring
